Parramatta has re-signed star winger Maika Sivo till the top of the 2025 season.
The fan favorite, who made his debut for the membership in 2019, has scored 67 tries in simply 83 matches within the blue-and-gold.
He scored what proved to be the profitable attempt in Parramatta’s preliminary closing win over North Queensland in 2022, reserving a spot within the membership’s first grand closing in 13 years.

“Maika is such a powerful athlete who is not only difficult to contain but he can score tries from almost impossible positions,” stated Eels soccer boss Mark O’Neil.
“He is one of a handful of players in the NRL who can bring the crowd to their feet during a match. The noise and atmosphere at CommBank Stadium is unforgettable when Maika scores a try.
“With a younger household, we’re glad that Maika has prolonged his time on the Eels and we stay up for celebrating extra milestones collectively.”
Sivo’s contract extension comes on the back of similar news for teammates Dylan Brown and Will Penisini, although the future of halfback Mitchell Moses is still not clear.
While Moses is expected to turn down a massive offer from the Wests Tigers to remain at Parramatta, that’s yet to be made official.
The Eels open their 2023 season against Melbourne on Thursday night.
